About Rudys Rescue
Dear Fellow Dog Lover,
I would like to introduce you to Rudy’s Rescue. We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization with a 501 (C) (3) tax exempt status. You probably know that Labrador Retrievers have long been one of the most popular breeds of dogs. What you might not know—and what you might find hard to believe, is that many of them end up homeless, abandoned, surrendered, and/or in need of being rescued from “kill shelters” and puppy mills. That’s what we here at Rudy's Rescue focus our efforts on - saving these deserving dogs who, through no fault of their own, have been cast aside and/or left to live a life lacking in love and kindness.
This process involves transporting, fostering, temperament testing, appropriate medical care as needed, including spaying and neutering, and finally adoption into a loving forever home. Our wish is that someday every animal will have a safe and loving place to call home and we will no longer be needed. You may see our mission statement, success stories (including Winchester, pictured above, who has found a loving forever home) and information on the many Labs we are currently fostering at www.rudysrescue.org.

Annie
Annie has made a fine adjustment to her new home! She just loves her older sister Abbie, especially when they can curl up together for a nap. Annie does snore however and it is a wonder she is not waking up the whole neighborhood! Annie also loves to go for walks with her family and just can't believe all the wonderful things there are to smell on a walk! Annie's family is glad she has joined them and wonders what they did without her!
