About Rudys Rescue

Dear Fellow Dog Lover,

I would like to introduce you to Rudy’s Rescue. We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization with a 501 (C) (3) tax exempt status. You probably know that Labrador Retrievers have long been one of the most popular breeds of dogs. What you might not know—and what you might find hard to believe, is that many of them end up homeless, abandoned, surrendered, and/or in need of being rescued from “kill shelters” and puppy mills. That’s what we here at Rudy's Rescue focus our efforts on - saving these deserving dogs who, through no fault of their own, have been cast aside and/or left to live a life lacking in love and kindness.

This process involves transporting, fostering, temperament testing, appropriate medical care as needed, including spaying and neutering, and finally adoption into a loving forever home. Our wish is that someday every animal will have a safe and loving place to call home and we will no longer be needed. You may see our mission statement, success stories (including Winchester, pictured above, who has found a loving forever home) and information on the many Labs we are currently fostering at www.rudysrescue.org.

Walter


Abby (our Mix from Lollypop) and Walter are the best of friends, and we are so lucky to have not one, but 2 great dogs!! (The cats seem to think Walter and Abby are ok too:) )

Thank you for checking in on us, and thank you for finding Walter for us, he is such a perfect part of our family, and we couldn't imagine our family being complete without him.
